NASA DIGITAL LEARNING NETWORK (DLN)

Using interactive instructional technology in support of long-term retention of knowledge, the DLN delivers content to learners at all levels, by allowing the opportunity to interact directly with NASA scientists and engineers. This provides students with a new appreciation for the importance and application of science and engineering in their future.

Participation in a NASA Digital Learning Network program is possible through interactive video conferencing, and some programs are available via webcast. Standard connections are over ISDN lines (H.320 standard) or over IP (internet- H.323 standard). For more information regarding the Digital Learning Network and technical requirements, please visit us at www.education.nasa.gov/dln.

Distance learning events are an integral part of this opportunity, and participating schools must have access to working video conferencing equipment, whether on site at their own schools or in another location.  NASA will make every effort to accommodate the team's videoconference requests and/or need for technical assistance.
