- Each prospective flight crew member must be a full-time undergraduate student enrolled
in an accredited U.S. institution of higher learning (junior college,
community college, college, university) at the time the proposal
is submitted.
- Flight Crew members must be 18 or older before arrival in Houston.
- Ground Crew members must be 16 or older before arrival in Houston.
- All participants MUST be U.S. Citizens.
- All flyers and ground crew MUST attend the Thursday Orientation.
- Flight Crew members may serve in a flight-crew capacity for one team only in the same competition. Flight crew members may serve as ground crew members on another team in the same competition.
- Student experiments must be organized, designed and operated
by student team members alone.
- Ground crew members may be comprised of students of any level (high school, undergraduate, graduate); faculty members; professional consultants; etc.
- Any ground crew member under the age of 18 accompanying the team to Houston must provide a signed JSC parental consent form.
- All ground crew are expected to be contributing members of the team. As such, they are expected to attend all 10 days of the event with the team.
